Quality Assurance

Each lot shows the current producer accreditation GSFI (BRC/ IFS/ FSSC22000 etc) and the actual product specification is visible with a simple click

The product listings

As you will see, the commodity dairy products are professionally described, with grading notes (where applicable), suitability for use, when the lot is available for collection and store location. They are priced according to the market value on a particular trading session. Be aware live market prices can change rapidly

Purchase

If you are interested in a lot, simply click on the accompanying "Enquire tab" The Dairybuyer trading team will then contact you to finalise. Product lots are live available lots, - reality is when the lot is sold its gone. New lots are listed at new listing prices

Nothing is free

Stock is transferred to your account when a transaction takes place. Stock is sold on an ex store basis. Transport is the buyer’s responsibility, and additional works such as de-boxing, labelling etc are not included. You can order a sample if required, but this will incur a fixed charge of £75 per sample to cover basic costs. (This site is designed to keep overall costs down, and we understand that you do not expect to fund other people’s samples)

Service

We must stress - High level service contracts, bespoke packaging and delivery regimes, forward tailored positions and specialist contracts are not what this site is about. Dairybuyer.com is spot trade only

Cost effective

Using Dairybuyer you won’t be paying for service you don’t require - Expensive salaried and commissioned Salespeople, their cars, and their expense accounts!

Buying and timing

Dairybuyer allows you to monitor the market and see actual trends before a purchase. You get the best suitable product, at the best fair price - for that moment in time.

Effective use of Dairybuyer

Members can use this site to trade main Dairy commodity on the day. Or, if offered, they can take up a “future lot “, allowing the buyer to cover a forward position for their own business, and thus minimize liability.

Using this site to top up and balance regular stock is encouraged. This allows buyers to actually monitor the true traded marketplace.

Code of Conduct

A strict condition of use of this site is that all details (current or historical) obtained from Dairybuyer.com are strictly confidential, and trades are always to remain private between the buyer and the seller. Breaches of this code will result in loss of membership

Membership

Membership to Dairybuyer.com is invitation only, and remains open to those who use the site to procure on a regular basis
